Hi, my name is Amanda

I’m so glad you’re here, friend.

If you want to know a little more about me as a Photographer and as a friend, keep reading…

I was born and raised on a generation farm in rural Nebraska. Growing up, I always felt I had a unique purpose. I found art during my college years, which led to an interest in Photography. Before graduation, I had no idea what I was going to do with my life after school. I was gifted a Canon Rebel DSLR which sat under my dorm bed for months before I touched it. One photo project for class and a little positive feedback, I jumped into Photography and soon turned my hobby into a career.

I am a lover of travel, music (ALL DAY EVERY DAY), dogs (my dog BANKS is featured throughout my site and socials), adventure, mountains, beaches, spring, fall, friends, family, hats, thrifting, stripes, COFFEE, shopping local, painting, antiques, the 70’s, building friendships + meeting new faces, MY CAMERA, film, boots (the worn-out kind), oversized jackets + sweaters, and much much more.

I am a believer this career has brought me to a place I never thought possible personally. I’ve struggled with social anxiety most of my life, and it often does find a way back into my daily, but Photography has pushed me to explore outside of my comfort zone.

I put my all into making this life one of growth and love and treating my clients like they are my ONLY is always my first goal. Heck, I am human, but I truly try my hardest. I often become friends with clients after wedding days, because you know, its pretty personal. I witness the most beautiful and important moments in one’s life and CAPTURE it. I think of myself as more of a journalist telling a story through photographs. I will take you back to that day years later when you dust off your old albums. I will tell your story of that day that future children, grandkids, and friends who weren’t there will feel like they were….

“I solely believe I have found myself through my art. It has created me.”
